Where you are seen, heard, valued, and connected.

We know that trying to navigate mental health services can be confusing, frustrating, and even leave people hopeless. Mosaic Counseling wants your experience to be easy, informational, and hopeful.

What happens when you call Mosaic?

Karen Kolenic PhotoYou will probably speak to our Director of First Impressions, Karen Kolenic. She and other Mosaic staff will treat you with care and respect. We will schedule a free intake session so that we can get information from you in order to match you with the therapist that is right for you.

  • Where do you live?
  • Who referred you?
  • Is Mosaic your EAP? If not, does your employer have another EAP?
  • Are you a Holland Promise student?
  • Are you insured, uninsured, or underinsured (insurance with a high deductible)?
  • You will chat with one of our staff about what is going on in your life and what you or a dependent is looking for in counseling. This is where we match you with one of the therapists on our panel.
  • Mosaic Counseling services are available to those who live, work, or attend school in Ottawa County. If you are uninsured or underinsured we will work with you to find a per session rate that you can afford, but if you have insurance, we prefer to utilize that. Please have your accurate insurance name and policy information.
  • Mosaic Counseling contracts with our therapists, which we refer to as our Therapist Panel. Our therapists are all in private practice and take a variety of insurances. This is one of the factors that we discuss during the intake session in deciding which therapist is right for you.
  • Mosaic’s panel of therapists partner with us by lowering their normal rates so that we can assist people who are uninsured or underinsured access mental health services. When a therapist is on our panel, you can feel assured that they have been vetted by Mosaic AND they care about our community and share our commitment of being able to offer affordable and accessible counseling for ALL.
