Outpatient Counseling

Professional, affordable, accessible mental health counseling — for any age, any mild to moderate issue. Mosaic connects you to the right therapist quickly, with flexibility that fits your life.

About Mosaic's Outpatient Counseling

Mosaic Counseling has been the mental health safety net for West Michigan since 1978. We believe professional mental health services should be accessible and affordable — for everyone, regardless of insurance status or financial circumstances.

Our model is built around a simple idea: a lean, focused staff managing a large panel of nearly 300 licensed therapists. This gives us enormous capacity and means we can match you with exactly the right person for your specific needs — rather than whoever happens to have an opening.

We serve children, teens, adults, couples, and families. Any age. Any mild to moderate presenting issue. We work with mild and moderate mental health challenges, and we’re not here to turn anyone away.

What sets us apart
Local

A West Michigan nonprofit deeply rooted in this community since 1978. We understand local needs in a way national providers simply can’t.

Accessible

With nearly 300 licensed therapists, we get people in quickly — to the right person for their specific needs, not just the next available slot.

Matched

We match each client to a vetted licensed therapist who specializes in their area of need and is located where they prefer (virtual or in person). You don’t choose alone, we’re here for you.

Affordable

Access to mental health services should be available to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. We serve individuals with insurance coverage as well as those who are uninsured or underinsured, and offer sliding scale options based on individual circumstances to help make services more accessible and affordable.
